We decided early on to run LGB stock under  MTS control.  The railway is mixed in all senses of the word and has no pretensions to be anything or anywhere or any specified time period.

We began with starter sets and extra track and initially had about 120 meters of track around the garden.  We operated a pair of Stainz locos with the red and blue coaches on the slow line with some simple switching to ensure we did not have head on collisions at the passing loop.  We ran freight and a green coach train on the flat loop and began creating a small village near the passing loop and an interchange station near the reversing loops.
